Google Adverts Guide

  • A landing page or website is required for all Google campaigns.
  • A YouTube channel is required for all YouTube campaigns.
  • All messages must be checked and approved by Bastion & Flowe before being loaded onto the system. 
  • Messages will not be sent to blocked, suppressed, blacklisted, unsubscribed  or opted-out users.
  • Messages will not be sent to leads listed on Bastion & Flowe's sensitive names list. 
  • Only Cost-Per-Click or Cost-Per-Mili (1000 impressions) are allowed.

Ad Styles

  1. Google Search ad

    • Headline: May not contain more than 25 characters.
    • Description line 1: May not contain more than 35 characters.
    • Description line 2: May not contain more than 35 characters.
    • Display URL: May not contain more than 35 characters.
    • A minimum of 20 keywords per ad is required. 
    • A maximum of 100 keywords are allowed.

     

  2. Dynamic Search Ad

    • Description line 1: May not contain more than 35 characters.
    • Description line 2: May not contain more than 35 characters.
    • Display URL: May not contain more than 35 characters.
    • A minimum of 20 keywords per ad is required. 
    • A maximum of 100 keywords are allowed.
  3. Text Ad

    • Headline: May not contain more than 25 characters.
    • Description line 1: May not contain more than 35 characters.
    • Description line 2: May not contain more than 35 characters.
    • Display URL: May not contain more than 35 characters.
  4. Image Ad

    • Image ads can be supplied in any of the following formats:
      • HTML
      • HTML 5
      • GIF
      • JPEG
      • PNG 
    • Flash animations are not allowed.
    • Creatives need to be supplied for the following banner sizes (Pixels):
      • 120 x 600 (Vertical)
      • 160 x 600 (Vertical)
      • 300 x 600 (Vertical)
      • 250 x 250 (Square)
      • 336 x 280 (Square)
      • 300 x 250 (Square)
      • 200 x 200 (Square)
      • 320 x 50 (Horizontal)
      • 468 x 60 (Horizontal)
      • 970 x 90 (Horizontal)
      • 320 x 100 (Horizontal)
      • 728 x 90 (Horizontal)

  5. Lightbox Ad
    • Graphics can be supplied in any of the following formats:
      • HTML
      • HTML 5
      • GIF
      • JPG
      • PNG
    • Headline: May not contain more than 25 characters.
    • Description line 1: May not contain more than 60 characters.
    • Display URL: May not contain more than 35 characters.
    • Video of the ad needs to be hosted on YouTube and must comply with YouTube requirements.
    • Banners need to be supplied in the following sizes (Pixels):
      • 160 x 600
      • 300 x 600
      • 250 x 250
      • 300 x 250
      • 320 x 50
      • 468 x 60
      • 468 x 60
      • 728 x 98
  6. Video ad
    • Video Codec: H.264, MPEG-2 or MPEG-4.
    • Audio Codec: MP3 or AAC.
    • Videos run on display network and YouTube. 
    • The headline is limited to 35 characters.
    • Description line 1 is limited to 35 characters.
    • Description line 2 is limited to 35 characters.

  7. Gmail Image Ad
    • Company name is limited to 15 characters.
    • Subject line is limited to 25 characters.
    • Description line is limited to 100 characters. 
    • Image size: 650 x [300 to 1000] px

      • HTML 5

  8. Gmail Multiple Products Ad
    • Company name is limited to 15 characters.
    • Subject line is limited to 25 characters.
    • Description line is limited to 100 characters.
